Depart Nairobi very early in the morning. It is advisable that the travelers take an early breakfast or carry packed breakfast to take in the vehicle as the drive is long – bout 200 kms. Drive South through Maasai territory via Namanga on Kenya-Tanzania border and on to Amboseli, at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest snow capped mountain in the tropics. Excellent game viewing will be witnessed with high concentration of elephants with bulls having the largest tusks in Kenya.

You will have the chance to see lion, rhino, giraffe, zebra, impala, wildebeest, buffalo amidst other animals and plentiful of birds life. Hippos can also be seen bathing in the swamps, which gets its water from the underground springs of Mount Kilimanjaro. Lunch will be served at one of Amboseli’s nice lodges. Afternoon game viewing while on en-route Nairobi to arrive in the City late in the evening.
